Help If You Can!
Troop 1999 is always open to a little help from those who wish to support our efforts, but can not make a weekly commitment to help as a leader.
We always encourage our Scouts to earn their way. To save for the activities they want to attend and equipment that they desire. It is a great life lesson to teach a young boy. We often demonstrate this concept by engaging in a Troop level fundraiser. The funds raised from these activities go into the Troop general fund. We do, however, sometimes fall short in achieving all of our wants and needs. This is where you come in.
We know that times are tough for many and the Troop is no different. We do our best to maintain financial stability, but sometimes we just need a little help. We would be greateful if you choose to make a financial donation. Every small amount will help - get a boy to summer camp - help a Scout obtain equipment - pay for gas to get the Scouts to camp etc.
