Youth protection and privacy is very important, and as such, some areas of this site are limited to the Scouts of Troop 1999, their parents, and the volunteer Leadership. In each case, you are required to Log-in.

Member/Youth Protection Guidelines
- Full names, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of youth members will not be listed on the web site.
- Pictures of youth may appear on the web site as long as no name or other personal information is associated with the picture(s).
- Parents have been informed that photos of Troop 1999 members may be posted on the website at any time.
- Scouters or Parents who prefer their youth's image NOT be posted on the site should notify the webmaster, Scoutmaster or Committee Chair.
- In order to facilitate communication within the Troop, names and e-mail addresses of adult volunteers can be listed on the web site, with their verbal approval. In some cases, phone numbers can be listed also, with verbal approval.
- If any individual's name, e-mail address, or photo appears on the web site, and he/she wants it removed, he/she should notify the webmaster by e-mail.

Boy Scout Troop 1999 uses login information from registered Troop members and their parents, only to allow them access to predefined Members-Only areas of this site. We do not monitor any activity other that validating the users permission to access restricted areas of this site.
What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?
If our Privacy Policy changes, our Troop members and their parents will be notified and this document will reflect those changes. This document is always current with the approved Policies of Boy Scout Troop 1999.
